A long, long time ago, on a dude ranch not so far away, there lived a uniquely creative chef named Mary. Before guests would take their daily horseback rides, she would pack their saddle bags with huge, oversized cookies. Drawing upon inspiration from the incredible Colorado landscapes, these cookie creations perfectly captured the hearty and magical spirit of the mountains. At noon, when everyone opened up their saddlebags for lunch, their mountain-style cookies were not only found in one piece, but moist and ready to satisfy the sweet cravings of the hungry wranglers.

Over the years, many guests begged Mary to open a retail store. Soon, in the heart of Fort Collins, one miniature cookie bakery opened. Over 20 years have passed since the initial cookie bakery opened, but not much has changed. We are still baking cookies daily throughout the year at our Old Town location in Fort Collins.
